9:47p Hello, it's me.
Oh lordy, it looks like I haven't been making any comics. But I have, honest I have.
There's the one I did for the anthology Solipsistic Pop, which is a classy little book. The comics by Stephen Collins are just so good.
Also, I drew on the wall at the ICA as part of the Comica Festival

(The words are written by Alan Moore not me)
Then I drew some strips for Top Shelf 2.0. I'm not sure when they're gonna put them up though. Also I did one for another site, but I'm not sure when that's going up ether. Watch this space I guess.
I have done sketchbook stuff, but I don't think i could be bothered to scan any of it. So, instead, here's a picture of my son at Halloween...

The always delightful lizbaillie has relaunched Freewheel as a webcomic. It looks to be her strongest work to date. It's always great to see Liz at shows with her easily identifiable pink zebra striped table cloth.

Sadly, it appears I am squinting in almost every damn photo, or have my mouth opened awkwardly. This is to e expected.

11:13p King Con weekend
Damn, this weekend was CHUNKY...

I was surprised to hear about the King Con earlier this week. I would've loved to have a table at this show (especially since it was in my neighborhood!), but still enjoyed walking around as a fanboy.
( Lot's of photos in the cut... )

11:10p Retailer Copy
I picked up the preview copy of Haunted from my local printer today. Then stopped by office depot and picked up envelopes. I'll be sending out about 300 to comic shops that are more likely to order Haunted. Now the fun part. Addressing them all...

9:40a Tales of the A/V Cretins...

A few weeks ago, oneofthejohns and I interviewed our old buddy Jeremy Massie for the brownpaperbag blog. He's a cartoonist living in Virginia, who recently released his first graphic novel, The Deadbeat.
Jon and I had a lot of fun and headaches doing this interview. Fun because it's always a good time talking with our buddy, and personally I think the discussion went some places that we hadn't expected to cover. Headaches were caused by the fact that Jon and I had never tried recording anything more complex than two people sharing a tape recorder, so there was some post-production work that went into making this interview listenable (all of which we learned as we went along). Jon has a shortlist of interviews he'd like to do, so at least we'll be better prepared the next time we set out to do this kind of thing.
Anyway, you can listen to the interview at the site, where we also have excerpts from The Deadbeat and some of Jeremy's previous work.
